Paul led the spinout of Graphite Financial from ff Venture Capital in December 2016 and serves as Graphite's CEO. Paul's is utilizing his background as a Venture Capitalist, Entrepreneur and Certified Public Accountant to shape an accounting & consulting firm that deeply understands the needs and nuances of early stage technology ventures. Graphite assists startups with bookkeeping, strategic finance, financial modeling, HR and tax matters.
Prior to Graphite Financial, Paul was an investor with ff Venture Capital for 5 years. Paul invested in and advised companies such as Plated (acquired by Albertsons), Distil Networks (raised $60m) and Pebblepost (raised $40m). Paul has advised the majority of ffVC’s portfolio companies on finance matters and has built or advised on hundreds of financial models in the process. Paul graduated from the State University of New York at Albany with a BS in Accounting and is Certified Public Accountant in the the State of New York.
Mike Ryan is the Co-Founder and CEO of Bullet Point Network. An active private investor, entrepreneur, and board member, Mike has almost 30 years of investment, capital markets, and management experience.
Before founding Bullet Point Network, Mike served as Head of Public Equity and Absolute Return at the Harvard endowment, Head of Global Securities (overseeing equities, fixed income, currencies & commodities) at Credit Suisse, and Partner and Head of Global Equity Products at Goldman Sachs, where he spent the first 18 years of his career. He graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with a B.A. in economics and was an Academic All-American in basketball.
Jeff leads Primary Insight’s business development team and brings over 15 years of experience and proven results in sales production and managing high performing sales teams in the Expert Network industry. Previously, Jeff has made significant sales contributions at Gerson Lehrman Group and Guidepoint Global selling into Hedge Funds, Private Equity Firms, Consultancies, Bulge Bracket Brokerage firms as well as Corporations.
Prior to the expert network industry, Jeff held sales and trading positions with Charles Schwab and Instinet where he developed integral account management skills and an exceptional track record leading and motivating sales teams through a collaborative style to deliver bottom line results. Jeff received a BBA in Finance from Emory University and an MBA in Finance from the Stern School at New York University
David was previously the co-founder of ShopKeep, a technology company that provides cloud-based operating software to over 40,000 small and medium businesses. Prior to ShopKeep, David was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions of IAC, Barry Diller's publicly traded holding company of numerous consumer facing technology brands including Tinder, Match, Vimeo, College Humor, Citysearch, Ticketmaster, and Ask.
David spent the first part of his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers' Mergers and Acquisitions team. He's a TechStars Mentor, Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School and a member of the Board of Directors for the University’s Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center. David has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Tulane University and an MBA from Columbia University.
Phil Haslett is the co-founder and Chief Revenue Office at EquityZen, a pre-IPO secondary marketplace based in NYC. EquityZen was founded in 2013 and is backed by Draper Associates, 500 Startups, and others.
Previously, Phil was a Vice President at Pomelo Capital, a NYC-based hedge fund, focusing on capital structure arbitrage. After helping launch the fund (now $300mm+ AUM), he was responsible for trading, research, and operations. He started his career at Barclays Capital in their Proprietary Trading group.
Phil is an avid golfer and rock-climber, and in his spare time he and his fiancee enjoy roaming New York for its best buffalo wings.
